THE MISSION

Kayba is a learning layer that helps AI agents improve from their own experiences. Today, agents often repeat the same mistakes because they cannot learn from previous runs. Teams must manually rewrite prompts, debug failures, and intervene frequently to get consistent results.

Kayba solves this by capturing how an agent performs a task, identifying what went well and what went wrong, and transforming those insights into reusable strategies that the agent can apply the next time it encounters a similar situation. This allows agents to become more reliable, faster, and more accurate with every run—without any model retraining or complex engineering.

Our technology works across different AI models and agent frameworks, making it easy for builders and companies to integrate learning into their existing systems. We provide an open-source engine for developers and, soon, a hosted platform with governance, safety controls, and detailed observability so teams can monitor and manage how their agents learn.

With Kayba, we aim to unlock the next generation of adaptive AI systems by giving agents the ability to continuously improve in real-world environments. Our mission is to make learning a fundamental capability—not an afterthought—in every AI agent.

We’re most proud of how we evolved our value proposition from “AI memory” to a true learning layer for agents: a shift that resonated strongly with builders, LLM developers, and teams deploying complex agent workflows. In just 1.5 months since launch, we’ve passed 1,000 GitHub stars and begun running pilots with early adopters.

The three most valuable aspects of Talent Kick have been: 1) Finding co-founders through the structured networking process, which was essential for building our core team, 2) Access to experienced coaches who provided crucial guidance on team dynamics and 3) The network of advisors and industry connections.
