THE MISSION
Safora develops affordable, reliable anti-poaching devices to protect wildlife reserves. Our first product is a smart fence monitoring system that detects fence cuts, short circuits, or tampering in real time. When a breach occurs, the device sends instant alerts via a dashboard and mobile notifications, enabling rapid response before poachers can act. Using LoRa technology for long-range, low-power communication, our solution is designed to be scalable, theft-protected, and built to withstand harsh outdoor conditions. We are currently piloting with both a reserve and a national park in South Africa, preparing for a broader rollout across Africa to help game reserves protect the irreplaceable.
We had already met before Talent Kick, but the program motivated us to push our idea further into a real venture. Talent Kick validated our compatibility as co-founders and encouraged us to have important discussions early on about our journey together. The mentorship, workshops, and feedback sessions gave us valuable entrepreneurial skills, while the network connected us with many founders from whom we learned a lot. It also pushed us to actively find a mentor, which strengthened our team even further.
The most valuable part of Talent Kick has been the combination of mentorship, workshops, and structured feedback. These not only gave us practical entrepreneurial skills but also pushed us to have important discussions as co-founders early on. In addition, the network of fellow founders was hugely valuable — we learned a lot from their experiences and felt motivated by being part of such a driven community.
"Within Talent Kick, we are most proud of how we grew from an idea into a validated venture with clear next steps. Successfully pitching our solution, receiving constructive feedback, and refining our strategy through the program gave us the confidence and tools to engage partners beyond TK. This foundation has been essential for the progress we’re making today."

GET INVOLVED
We are currently looking to connect with anyone who can help Safora expand our anti-poaching efforts. This includes contacts at African game reserves, people who have visited reserves and can make introductions, or supporters of wildlife and environmental causes in Europe. If you can help us build connections, pilot our devices, or support our mission to protect wildlife, please get in touch.
