THE MISSION
Safora is an end-to-end electric fence monitoring solution for wildlife reserves and
agricultural land. Solar-powered sensors detect faults, breaches, and tampering the moment
they happen, while the web dashboard and mobile alerts show exactly which sensor
triggered and where to respond, so teams can act before a small issue becomes a serious
loss. Safora integrates into the monitoring tools conservation and agricultural teams already
rely on, so alerts fit straight into existing workflows.
Farms and conservation reserves across Africa rely on Safora to reduce losses and
downtime, catch poaching attempts, and prevent wildlife escapes. Since its first deployment
in December 2024, Safora's sensors have logged over 800 real-world alerts, including critical
events like poaching incidents and escaping elephants.
Built on an open, low-power LoRaWAN network, the solution is designed for multi-year
autonomous operation in the remote, off-grid locations where fences matter most.
Production is now scaling for retailers and larger clients across more countries, aiming for
global reach while keeping conservation at the center of the mission.
