THE MISSION

At Elenir we developed an advanced AI-based scheduling algorithm shifts industrial energy generation and consumption without compromising business operations. Our approach provides flexibility to the grid by leveraging existing infrastructure, enables seamless integration, and operates robustly under fluctuating power market conditions.

Our solution unlocks a massive, overlooked resource to solve this problem by exploiting already existing infrastructure: the inherent thermal storage capacity of district heating networks. These networks, which supply heat to entire communities, can act as giant, cost-effective thermal batteries. We provide the missing intelligence to harness this potential.

The TalentKick program helped us define our team structure and values, laying the foundation for strong collaboration among highly motivated and talented people. Additionally, it bridged the gap between academia and real-world scenarios. We are truly grateful for that!

Establishing collaborations with two commercial partners was crucial to kick-start our venture, and the Talent Kick program guided us toward achieving this goal.

We are most proud of advancing to the second semester of the Talent Kick program. It gives us the confidence and structure to grow as a team, while also accelerating our learning curve in the venture-building process. Having the opportunity to pitch our idea at the Startup Night event was a unique moment that fuelled our motivation to keep pursuing our mission.
