THE MISSION

OncoTarget is developing a patient-derived gastric cancer organoid platform that enables clinicians to provide personalized and efficacious cancer treatments. The platform allows oncologists to test therapies on tumor organoids that mimic the complexity of each patient’s tumor, helping identify the treatments most likely to succeed for each individual. By bridging the gap between lab research and clinical practice, OncoTarget helps clinicians make informed, patient-specific decisions quickly and effectively, avoiding trial-and-error approaches.

Talent Kick allowed us to form the core team and identify which roles are needed to bring OncoTarget a step further. We are proud to have won the Team Kick Award, reflecting our journey of personal and team growth. Further, we are proud of having built a stable and functional core team of four, capable of addressing and overcoming challenges together to  personalise cancer care. Lastly, we are proud of having convinced our first supporters and the shaping of a strategy to bring our venture further in the local but also international ecosystem.

For us, the part where we were introduced to different entrepreneurs that could share their success story was highly impactful. Further, we are glad to have had pitching opportunities and the guidance to create an effective pitch deck.
