THE MISSION
DeepTerra is a geospatial LLM that turns natural-language requests into expert-level mapping, spatial analysis, and insight generation. Teams interact with their data as if chatting with a senior GIS analyst: “extract the regular vector contour of the central building from this image,” “where should we open a new retail store,” or “compare roof changes between 2020 and 2024.” DeepTerra ingests raster and vector data, runs the right geoprocessing steps (e.g., footprint extraction, change detection, proximity and network analysis), and returns auditable outputs—vector layers, styled maps, and short decision summaries—ready to export to GeoJSON, Shapefile, or PostGIS.
With this, organisations can replace hours of manual digitisation and scripting with minutes of guided automation, reduce errors, and accelerate the transformation from raw data into actionable decision support—crucial in a fast-changing world. We achieve this by combining a domain-tuned language model with a toolchain of geospatial libraries and models (e.g., GDAL/GeoPandas/PostGIS, remote-sensing segmentation) and by planning multi-step workflows that execute reliably and reproducibly.
Next, we are integrating live geodatabases and external APIs and introducing an interactive map-chat interface for visual exploration. We will also enable chaining of analyses into reusable workflows (pipelines) for tasks like asset mapping, environmental compliance checks, site selection, and disaster assessment—so users can ask complex questions, see the intermediate steps, and consistently get production-grade results.
The Talent Kick workshops have been very helpful in shaping the direction of our team. We absorbed valuable insights from the market opportunity workshop, which led us to rethink the localisation of our product and refine our target market. The co-founder agreement and coaching sessions helped us better understand what makes a high-performance team and encouraged us to address difficult questions constructively.
The most valuable part of the program for us so far has been the pitching events. Our pitch received very positive feedback from an external expert from Venture Kick during the Steering Committee and Partners Pitching. This helped our team reflect on our project as a whole, and the feedback we received enabled us to make meaningful progress.
"The pitching sessions and the feedback we received were instrumental in refining our product and driving progress. Overall, Talent Kick has been pivotal for our team’s development."

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
GET INVOLVED
We are seeking early adopters and pilot partners in topographic mapping, urban planning, disaster response, environmental monitoring, and geospatial data management to test and shape DeepTerra’s capabilities. We also welcome connections with mentors and experts in business development, marketing, and legal/compliance as we prepare to grow our team.
