THE MISSION

Our mission at Carebotics is to elevate elderly care for all of us. We’re building an AI autoscheduler that frees up caregivers’ time so they can spend more of it with the people who matter.

We’re building a modular, AI-powered scheduling platform specifically designed for elderly care homes. With a single click, our system matches the right staff to the right shift.

Here’s how it works:

A smart, constraint-based scheduler that considers labor laws, staff contracts, availability, and resident care requirements. A matching algorithm that pairs staff with residents not just by qualifications, but also by emotional and relational fit. A continuously learning system: the more it’s used, the better it gets. For instance, if someone repeatedly swaps out of a certain shift, the platform learns not to assign it again. A real-time response engine that instantly suggests qualified replacements for sudden absences or emergencies.

For staff, we’re developing a mobile app for schedule access, shift swaps, and availability updates: eliminating the chaos of WhatsApp messages and whiteboards. Unlike traditional tools that simply display schedules, we actively solve scheduling.

The Talent Kick (TK) program supported us in multiple impactful ways. It expanded our network with like-minded individuals passionate about entrepreneurship and helped us grow into real entrepreneurs by showing us how to build strong, effective teams capable of turning ideas into reality. Through personalized coaching, TK helped us find our voice as entrepreneurs and leaders, emphasizing that leadership comes in many forms, all equally valid.

We’re most proud of the depth and speed of progress we’ve made in validating the problem space. We’ve spoken with over 100 retirement homes across Switzerland and the EU and conducted 10 on-site visits to understand real-world needs firsthand. This groundwork led to five retirement homes in Geneva committing to feature testing and pilot programs with us.

We’ve also secured two strong advisors: a retirement home manager who brings operational insight, and the founder of a scheduling startup who offers strategic guidance on product development and scaling.

"The most valuable part of the Talent Kick program has been the mentorship and coaching. It gave us the confidence to take on a complex challenge and grow into our roles as founders. Beyond that, TK connected us with successful startup founders, angel investors, and helped us secure a biweekly mentorship with an experienced founder in our domain. The CHF 5,000 grant also gave us the runway to start building and testing early."
