THE MISSION

ARTENA is a community-driven marketplace that connects artists of handcrafted goods with buyers who value authenticity, creativity, and local production.

We address the challenges many independent artists face – such as low visibility, limited sales skills, and high marketing and admin costs – by providing a platform that showcases their work, who they are as artists and individuals, and tells their stories. With tools for promotion, pricing guidance, and community features, artists gain access to the visibility and support they need to grow their business sustainably.

On the buyer side, ARTENA responds to a growing demand for unique, local, and meaningful products. Consumers increasingly want to move away from mass-produced goods and towards items with a story. Our platform curates authentic works and helps users discover artists who align with their values.

Additionally, ARTENA creates real-life and digital spaces – through local events, forums, and workshops – to foster a creative, connected community. In doing so, we don’t just sell art – we build relationships, support craftsmanship, and empower creators to do what they love.

We are most proud of the clarity and momentum we have gained during the Talent Kick program. We took big conceptual ideas and shaped them into a focused, testable direction – and did so as a truly aligned team.
